As a fashion blogger, I feel like there is this unseen force that tells me that I have to only post about "cool", unique, and interesting outfits. However, today, I say "to hell to that unseen force!" with a simple black top.
I based this entire outfit from this simple black long sleeved top that I got for free thanks to dress gal.com (seriously, thank you dressgal!)
This simple top is perfect for achieving the casual modern look because
of its wide neckline, slightly flared shillouette, and lightweight fabric.
To complete the look I...
1. Put on a pair of straight cut denim jeans to keep it casual
2. Solid black heeled sandals to gimmie some of that height that I so desperately need
3. A simple silver necklace to emphasize the neckline of the shirt
4. A low bun because everyone looks more modern in a low bun

I think simple outfits can be really nice sometimes, they're easier to be inspired from, and I'm more likely to be able to actual wear them out as well!

The black top is so cute! One of my favorite styles, actually. I think the best outfits are the simplest ones 'cause they're also the easiest to recreate without having to go out and buy an entire outfit!

The outfit is simple but so put together -- it's perfect.
ReplyDeletePersonally, the only thing I'd change are those high heels. They're gorgeous on you, but terrible for my feet. I'd replace them with a cozy pair of my favorite moccasins ;)
