Styling: The Parka | Autumn OOTD|

In the Philippines, we don't really have Autumn. We have something called the rainy season but that doesn't mean that I can't find a way to rock Fall weather essentials like this parka. In today's I'll be using Fall colors and subtle cool weather essentials to bring Autumn to the Philippines.

The Base:
A lovely orange top + dark wash denim shorts

 The accessory:
To bump up the simple base,
I chose to slap on this statement watch (that doesn't have batteries).
Plus, the black faux leather straps keep with the
cozy casual vibe.

 The outerwear:
And here comes our 1st Fall essential:
the parka.
I folded the sleeves up so I can still survive
the not-so-hot-not-so-cold weather.

 The leg-wear:

An easy way to add personality (and warmth)
to an outfit is with a fun pair of socks.

This beige one is perfect for matching with
the other Fall colors.

 The footwear:

Black booties are the classic shoe choice for
the fall season but these oxford
lace up ones give a fun and slightly school-girl
twist.

  1. There isn't much of a Fall season here in Texas either. It's hurricane season so it gets rainy one day and extremely hot the next :(

Love your parka and your watch. You styled this outfit perfectly!

  2. I have been seeing these kinds of jackets pop up everywhere in the shops and I love the look of them. It doesn't get that cold here either so I think that I will pick up one :)

  5. I'm loving the overall look especially the parka. When I was in the Philippines I always dress simple since it's either sunny and rainy. I especially love the rainy season since I get to bust out cute jackets but of course footwear is always a bust over there when you have to get around and most of the time we get flooded. Lol

  9. I love how you've still found a way to at least make your fashion a little more autumn-like and in my opinion it was really a success! I especially love those cute socks & your oxford shoes I'm desperately looking for a new pair since the leather of my current ones has become really wrinkly and old... :/ Anyways, love this outfit idea and the motif behind it! You're so beautiful btw! <3

  20. Parka's are really great for Philippine weather especially since it helps keep you warm when it rains but it not too warm that makes you really sweaty. Cool outfit btw. I love how the socks and oxfords combo!
