Can't decide between two body scrubs from the body shop? Are those two scrubs the Chocomania body scrub and Raspberry body scrub? If you said yes to both these questions then this is the post for you.
Wassaap peeps! Today I will be putting into the ring two body scrubs from the body shop! I hope that my short reviews help you choose which one you'd like to try out :3
CHOCOMANIA
PROS:
A little goes a long way:
I used the product MORE than 7 times which is amazing considering the tiny container.
Note that I only apply the product to my legs and arms.
Moisture Queen!:
Literally felt like I used a body butter on my body after I got out of the shower and patted myself dry.
Smells amazing:
Its chocolate... duh!
CONS:
Not really a scrub(?):
The product easily melts into the skin so I doubt that a lot of exfoliation is actually happening.
RASPBERRY
PROS:
A little goes a long way
Smell lasts for a really long time!:
My dad, who works under the sun, says that the scent of the body scrub stopped him from smelling stinking after a day of work.(Yes my father uses body scrubs)
Does its job!:
Because of the raspberry seeds (that don't melt away) the product leaves skin feeling smooth and soft.
CONS:
Applying it feels kinda weird....:
It literally feels like rubbing jelly over your body.
So which scrub wins this battle???
BOTH!
Honestly guys I would happily repurchase both because they have different purposes. Id use the chocomania one for days that I feel like I need moisture and am too lazy to apply lotion then Id use the raspberry one for those days I really wanna exfoliate and get smooth skin!
Cool review Bea!!! hhmmm dunno which one I should choose but maybe I'll go for the second one hehhe baka makain ko yung nasa una lol Was actually thinking of buying/trying out a new brand of body scrub but iba yung brand nya will make a review about it soon hehehe
I've never been to the Body Shop usually I stick to Bath & Body Works, but those products look amazing. I might just have to go there soon and try these. Btw your blog is so fab. Love it! I'm following you now. - culturedmisprint.blogspot.com
We dont have bath & body works here :C But I really recommend that you check out the body shop! Especially when things go on sale. Thank you so much <3
The only one I've used is the raspberry one and while yes it felt like I was rubbing jam on me, I loved it. The scent is amazing, had to try really hard to stop myself from having a lick of it haha and it exfoliated really well x
Ooh, the raspberry one literally looks like Jam! I really want to try The Body Shop Body Scrubs more! I've used the Shea Body Scrub once as I had a mini pot of it, but have never repurchased it. I never find the time to go into The Body Shop as I always forget it exsists (bad, i know). Ellie,xx Elephant stories and more

Good detailed review. I love body scrubs, but prefer the scent not to linger or if so, to be of a fresh-green scent.

The Chocolate one Would be my favorite. After all, it is chocolate, hm?
ReplyDeleteBut my absolute favorite from TBS is the Spiced Vanilla one.
