I've been producing posts in this blog for a while now and in all those years of making more and more of a digital footprint, I've been hiding.
You see, this blog of mine is a secret one. Not to you but to most of the people I know in my personal life. The only people who know of my passion outlet is my immediate family and my boyfriend, Chen, who has begged to learn what my blog name is since I told him I had one. But I've never dwelled to much on it.
For the most part, I thought that it was because I wanted the challenge of have literally having NO ONE to share my blog posts to on my social media accounts. It was only about an hour before I started writing this that I realized what exactly was stopping me from sharing my blog. And surprisingly, it's name was its own. Though I do acknowledge that the quality of my posts have grown and I've branched out into different topics, I'm not 100% proud of my blog. Don't get me wrong, I do like what I post about and my manner of writing but something more special was lacking in my posts: multiple dimensions and creativity. And with this reason, I've decided to take my blog and start producing articles with a vision of ingenuity and sincerity in all its different aspects.
I want to write short essays, make my own series, and take better photos. I don't promise to achieve my own approval in an instant but Im working on it. Consider me, under construction.
From the bottom of my silly self, thank you for reading my blog
Hi! I just came across your blog and I really like it. Besides, I can completely relate. Just my boyfriend and closest friends know about my blog and it's not because I'm ashamed of it, in fact, I'm happy that I'm doing something that not everybody is doing, something different but there's something that has been holding me back from sharing my posts on my personal social media. I've decided that today is the day that I will change that and I will tell everybody that I have a blog. I don't know why it kind of feels like a big deal but it does. I just started following you on bloglovin' so that I don't miss a post! xx Ana Indie Suns | Bloglovin' | Instagram
You should definitely do that! It takes time. When I first started blogging I didn't want anyone to know, share or ANYTHING. LOL Now, it doesn't matter. I'm very comfortable. http://www.averysweetblog.com/
OMG same, Bea! I totally can relate to this post. I've been blogging for more than 8 years but only a very few people know I have a blog. It used to be personal so I didn't want people to know about it because of embarassment, lol. Still, to date, I don't put any links on my Facebook because I feel like people there are not fully understanding and very judging, so I stick to my Twitter and Instagram which both are just full of bloggers and makeup lovers. :D
I've been blogging not to long but nobody knows that I do it. And I don't really know what's stopping me from telling the world. I am not ashamed or it but I'm not 100% happy with it either. I guess, I am just worried what people will think as it's not a thing in my country. But enough about me. I wish you the best with your blog, Bea. It's very important to make our little space on the internet appealing to us. Try out new things, write posts you WANT to write and see how it goes! :)
I don't think anyone should be completely satisfied with their blog because that doesn't give us a chance to constantly make it better and grow/learn blogging techniques and writing skills. We should always feel like that to keep growing!
